Day 1: Activivty 2 Discovering Aotearoa

Hello there. It is the start of the holidays which means that we have to start our summer learning journey. Today I finished my google draw about my country. In my country we were head lays and it is just like a head band but it is not. This is my work and I hope you enjoy.

  1. Kia Orana Merion,

I really enjoyed reading your blog post about your culture and learning about where you and your family come from. Thank you for sharing your personal beliefs around your culture and how important church and the bible is not only to you and your family, but in your culture.

I like how you expressed the importance of your Cook Island language and how important it is, not only to your family but also to you. I think it is so awesome that your parents and your grandparents encourage you to speak your language at home. Maybe you can teach me some Cook Island words and phrases over the summer holiday?
Today is my last day working for a couple of weeks, so I look forward to reading all the other activities I know you will be working hard at over the next few weeks.

    Merry Christmas,
    Kueni :)
